The Michal Miller Band

The Michal Miller Band has its roots in the blues of the PNW. Taking shape from earlier musical experiences, the idiosyncrasies of past performances have definitely lent their hands into turning the MMB style into its own.

Based in Tacoma, Washington, the band's most successful hits include “Laugh To Keep from Crying” and “Broke and Hungry”. The recent release of their debut album, Laugh to Keep from Crying, highlights Preston Miller's vocals and songwriting as well as Danny Michal's extraordinary keyboards.

The band comprises lead vocalist/guitarist Preston Miller, back up vocalist/keys Danny Michal, Joe Hendershot on bass and vocals, and drummer John Michael Colvin. These four talented musicians capitalize on each other's strengths in symbiosis, delivering moving lyrics, harmonious guitar riffs, and a collectively unyielding rhythm section, all while producing a classic, but still unique, driving blues feel.
